The following are some basic rules and guidelines, the application will proceed these directly afterwards!
If you are seeking to be a licensed jockey it's very well you know the rules now! So please read and abide them.
1. Jockey(s) must be at least 17 years of age, underaged jockeys are not allowed.
2. Jockey(s) must be a general range of 110 to 119 pounds. Be aware that the highest weight is usually only given to those whom ride a top-winning horse so it is generally more likely that you will weight closer to 110 then 119 at most times.
3. Jockey(s) should not be found to have any alcohol in their system during races. If a jockey is found to have alcohol the track reserves the right to suspsend the jockey.
4. A jockey will have four levels it will go through, the follow is a table of those schedules.
Once you hit Journeyman, you remain there!
5. There is no height restriction, but as a rule of thumb most jockeys tend to be below 5'5.
* I reserve the right to add more if I so choose to at any given time, so be aware!
